This property enjoys a quiet location in the Beacon Beacons village of Pantygelli, close to the Welsh/English border. The location is ideal for those who enjoy outdoor pursuits, as there are numerous activity centres in the area offering visitors the chance to have a go at climbing, abseiling, and caving. For a different way to look at life underground, the Big Pit National Coal Museum allows visitors to experience life in the colliery, and explore the role that the coal industry played in the heritage of the area. There is a pub in the village, within walking distance of the property, but for those looking for a winder range of eateries, there can be nowhere better than the town of Abergavenny, which is just two miles from the cottage, and offers a fantastic range of restaurants, cafes, and delis, many of which pride themselves on their use of local produce. On entering this stylish single storey property, guests will come first to the spacious open plan lounge/kitchen/diner where they will find a dining table, as well as sofa bed which can be used to accommodate two extra guests. There is a TV/DVD here for guests to enjoy, whilst the kitchen area is equipped with an oven, hob, microwave, fridge with ice compartment, and a dishwasher. The bright, relaxing bedroom has a king size zip and link bed which can be made up as twin beds on request, and there is also a contemporary shower room with corner shower and WC. There is also the addition of a separate shared laundry with washing machine and tumble dryer available for guests. Bi fold doors from the living area lead out to the property s attractive patio to the front of the cottage. This enclosed area offers beautiful views to the nearby mountains and has garden furniture making it a great space for enjoying alfresco drinks or meals.
