Set just 3 miles from the market town of Abergavenny and a stone s throw from Skirrid mountain, this attractive cottage is ideally located for experiencing the best of the Brecon Beacons. Foodies will find themselves at home here, with the town famed for its annual food festival, plus pubs and restaurants offering fantastic dining options year round. Climb the Skirrid mountain and be rewarded at the summit with splendid views of the surrounding countryside and St. Michael s Church. There are lots of options for more gentle walks too, making this a great place to explore whatever your age or ability. Enjoy the valley views from the spacious and welcoming lounge/diner, where a comfortable sofa, TV and DVD make the ideal set up for a cosy night in after all of that exploration. The kitchen is perfect for whipping up a romantic meal in. Upstairs there is light filled first floor double bedroom, where you can enjoy morning coffee from the comfort of your bed. There s also an en suite shower room. Tucked away behind the cottage, you ll find a small private patio with garden furniture a delightful spot for an al fresco breakfast in the fresh country air. It s easy to while away a morning here, watching the sheep in the neighbouring meadows and wildlife that call the rolling hills and mountains of the national park home. Beside the cottage, you will also find ample parking.
