Clock Cottage is a pretty and romantic contemporary renovated barn - privately set in the grounds of a country house just 5 miles from Abergavenny. Visitors to the cottage also have the use of a superb "All Weather" and floodlit Tennis Court - just remember to bring your own raquets and balls. Imagine a game of tennis on a starry night - something special to remember a holiday by.

You'll be spoilt for choice for really great place to eat. It's less than a five minute drive to The Walnut Tree with the celebrated chef Shaun Hill, The Bell at Skenfrith, Restaurant 1861, The Hardwicke with Steven Terry, walk across the fields to The Hunters Moon and the other numerous little local pubs offering good food. Within sight of Offas Dyke Path and with Three Castles Walk (Skenfrith, Grosmont and White Castle) practically on the doorstep there are plenty of walking routes right from the door and many more onto The Black Mountains and beyond. The village of Skenfrith with its medieval castle ruins is just a couple of miles down the lane and the market town of Abergavenny is just 5 miles.

Sleeps 2 - King-Size Bed

This lovely Clock Barn with its warm solid wood Maple floors is very light and spacious with a fine locally made, hand built pine kitchen with oak work surface, electric oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge and a freezer and a washing machine. Dining table and chairs and views across the lawn to the paddocks beyond where there are often a couple of horses grazing.

The warm and luxurious sitting area has a comfy sofa and and chairs. The wall to ceiling glass windows flood the room with light and in the winter with the super insulation it ensures the barn is always warm and cosy - added to this there is contemporary "Jotel" wood burning stove with the first basket of wood supplied. The TV has Freeview and a DVD and there is a music system.

The Bedroom is spacious and luxurious with a King sized bed and lovely linen.

Bathroom: A fabulous very spacious bathroom with a free standing "roll top"bath, a powerful shower in a separate shower cubicle, hand basin and toilet.

To reach Clock Cottage there are three steps up to the front door enjoy the private lawn with a stone terrace with garden table and chairs and a BBQ and great views out across the orchard and meadows.
