This beautiful, semi-detached barn conversion has been renovated to a very good standard and has great views of the ocean. Close to the owner’s home, Blakeskerra Barn is situated in Kenfig and is less than a minutes’ walk from the National Nature Reserve with its wide range of wildlife. Steeped in history, the village has castle ruins and a buried village, and the local pub is within walking distance.

Sker beach is accessible by a short walk from the property, where you can take your dogs on this rural beach and take in the fresh air and views. At low tide you can see the plaque which is in memory of those who died on the SS Santampa, and at very low tide wreckage is still being found here. Sker beach is also a great place surfers.

For those wanting to take in a country walk or cycling, then Margam Country Park is 4 miles from the property, hosting the fabulous Margam Castle. This park is set in 1000 acres of parkland full of history, wildlife and attractions for all.

Once you have finished your day exploring, head back to the barn and sit in the large garden, a short walk from the barn, where you can enjoy a barbecue and watch the sun go down. For those cooler nights, the wood burner in the living room will certainly keep you cosy. Beach 1 mile. Shop and restaurant 1 mile, pub 50 yards.
