Bills Shepherds Hut, Brecon

Brecon Beacons. Sleeps up to 2

A luxurious and a surprisingly spacious hand built shepherds hut - with a private lake and an arboretum. Free vegetables in season and glorious views - perfect peace and tranquillity with walks straight up onto the Black Mountains.

Bill's Shepherds Hut is located close to Sylvie's Shepherds Hut and there is also Maggies Barn on the same farm - so they can all be booked together to sleep 7 guests. It really is beautiful and so peaceful high up on this remote hillside.

The Shepherds hut is set in a unique and secluded location, at the foot of the Black Mountains. It has a dramatic 240 degree view from the Black Mountains to the Brecon Beacons, a perfect spot for star gazing. There is meadowland and woodland with the Arboretum in front of, and behind, Bill's Shepherds Hut which is perfect for just sitting quietly in the shade and reading. The dramatic waterfalls and Bluebell woods at Pwll-y-Wrach are nearby. The hamlet of Llanelieu has a medieval church with 14th Century rood screen, a painted loft and the old village stocks remain outside. It is also the home of Black Mountain Pottery.
