There are several local pubs serving food - the closest would be The Trout Inn in Beulah or The Prince Llewellyn Inn in Cilmery, or try The Red Lion in Llanafan Fawr. For a special meal try The Lake Hotel in Llangammach but be sure to book - also there is a lovely Spa there for a nice bit of pampering.
Visit The Abergwesyn Valley, The Elan Valley with the wonderful scenic drives around the great reservoirs and lakes, The Cambrian Hills and The Crychan Forest where there are picnic sites and mountain bike trails.
This is the perfect place to stay for any events held at The Royal Welsh Showground.
There is an enclosed field at the bottom of the garden reach down a garden path where visitors can exercise their dogs and where the owner trains her rescue dogs.
