Duck Cottage is an ideal Ground Floor cottage for two people looking for a comfortable, warm and spacious retreat with privacy, quiet and lovely views. The cottage has recently been converted from a barn on an attractive small holding where the owners keep sheep, ponies, ducks and chickens.

Cottage accommodation

The cottage sleeps 2 people but with Damson and Duck Cottage booked together ideal for two couples who can holiday together but be completely independent. The cottage is ideal for those with walking difficulties and wishing to have everything on the GROUND FLOOR.

The kitchen is hand-built and fitted with an electric cooker, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer. Dining table and chairs. The sitting room has comfortable sofas and chairs, a woodburning stove, SKY TV, DVD and a CD player. French doors lead out onto a private gravelled garden with plants in terracotta pots with herbs and flowers, wooden garden furniture and a BBQ.

Bedroom 1: is spacious with a large king-size bed which can be converted into two generous single beds if preferred, again French doors lead out to the garden.

The adjoining bathroom has a generous bath with a hand-held shower, a separate power shower unit, handbasin and toilet.

Useful information

Bedlinen and towels provided. There is an antique brass telescope in a wooden box which can be set up in one of the windows - with its sights set up the valley and spectacular views over the hills. Full oil central heating, electricity and logs for the woodburning stove. Cradoc Golf Club is 4 miles and Brecon is 4.5 miles.
