Artists View Cottage dates originally from the 1700s, this former cow byre beside the owner's own holiday home and has been beautifully renovated and converted to a charming, comfortable and peaceful retreat for 2 people. There are the most wonderful views from the south facing decked veranda and as the name suggests, this cottage would be ideal for the keen artist. There are excellent walks straight from the cottage along various footpaths through Woodland Trust managed land. Access to Artist's View is via wooden steps to the terrace. Brecon is just 2 miles away providing a great selection of restaurants, a cinema, shops and museums to explore.

Accommodation

Sleeps 2 - Kingsize Bed

Artist's View sleeps 2 people in comfortable, characterful accommodation, all on one level but accessed via wooden stairs. The well equipped kitchen has good quality shaker style units, with ample work and storage space, an electric double oven with halogen hob, fridge with freezer box, microwave, integrated washing machine/dryer, and dishwasher. There is also a dining table and chairs. In the sitting room the old bottle kiln fireplace is still intact and houses the large wood burning stove, logs are supplied and the old oak beams add character.

The cottage is furnished with a comfy leather sofa, and a nice mixture of pine and antique furniture. There is a good selection of books and DVD's to choose from and a TV with freeview.

French doors lead onto the sunny veranda perfet for with panormic views towards the Brecon Beacons. The cottage is attached to the owner's own holiday property.

Bedroom 1 has a comfortable king-size bed with excellent quality bedlinen and towels and once again boasts lovely views.

The shower room is well designed with power shower and modern, contemporary hand basin and toilet.

Discover The Crug - Artist's View sits right in the heart of a very special landscape. Make sure that you visit TheCrug whilst in the area. This impressive hill fort offers a wonderful insight into thestruggles of early Welsh people to defend their lands and the views from the site arebreath taking. Access is also relatively easy so even the least keen walker can take in thehistory and the surroundings without too much effort.
