Originally the Carriage House for Dolycoed House and now turned into a very comfortable and elegant red brick cottage with great charm and character, set in the small hamlet of Talyllyn.
On entering this welcoming cottage there is a terracotta tiled floor - the kitchen has everything that is needed for a very comfortable stay. An electric cooker with induction hob, microwave, dishwasher and a washing machine. Lovely oak dining table, sofa and chairs and a wood burning stove with plenty of wood supplied. French doors open out onto the gardens; TV with Freeview and DVD.

Upstairs to a splendid bedroom; this room is surprisingly spacious running the full length of the cottage and is full of light, it has a double bed and doors leading out to a balcony over-looking the garden. This is a perfect, private place to sit and enjoy a morning cup of coffee or perhaps an evening G & T after a day out exploring.
Visitors to the cottage have a private garden on an upper level, reached up stone steps where you can sit either in the sunshine or the shade to peacefully read.

Set between The Black Mountains and The Brecon Beacons in the centre of The National Park. There are some lovely walks from the cottage door and within very easy reach of all the main walks in The Brecon Beacons National Park. Within a mile of a local pub The Black Cock in the village of Llanfihangel Tal-y-llyn and only a short drive to several more excellent places to eat; one particularly to recommend is The Griffin at Felin Fach. Llangorse Lake is nearby with the wide variety of natural wild fowl as well as the transitory visitors that always attracted 'Birders' from far and wide. The
village of Llangorse has two riding centres and an excellent climbing and outdoor activity centre.
