The cottage lies in a secluded spot just outside the tranquil village of Lower Chapel (within a quarter of a mile) and close to Pwllgloyw (1.5 miles) where you will find a friendly pub. Also nearby is Cradoc Golf Club (4 miles) where you can enjoy a drink and a meal in the popular clubhouse. To the south is the bustling market town of Brecon (5 miles) which is known for its historic cathedral, 1930s style cinema, beautiful canal walks and an array of independent shops, pubs and restaurants. Activities in the region include canoeing, climbing and horse riding. Other local attractions include Llangorse Lake (12 miles), Pen y Fan (11.5 miles), Pen y Crug (6 miles) and Cantref Adventure Farm (9 miles). Entering this bright and coolly decorated cottage you will find yourself in the cheerful, light and attractive open plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The pretty lounge area is an ideal space for relaxation at the end of a lovely day, complete with TV, plenty of comfortable seating and a welcoming wood burner. There s also a delightful dining area, and the kitchen is fully equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave and fridge. The washing machine is stored in the nearby utility room. There is also a ground floor shower room complete with shower and WC. Steep open tread paddle stairs lead up directly into the spacious attic bedroom. This beautiful room features a double bed and an additional Futon bed, seating, skylights and exposed ceiling beams. Please note the room is set in the eaves of the house so the ceiling does slope very low. Heading outside, the beautiful garden features a lawn and a charming enclosed courtyard with shrubs, garden furniture and a BBQ, providing the ideal space for enjoying a meal alfresco at the end of a memorable day. There are also mown grassy tracks leading through the meadows down to a stream.
