A spacious, semi-detached, stone-built barn conversion situated in the pretty village of Brompton-by-Sawdon, between Scarborough and Pickering. Furnished and decorated to a good standard, The Wood boasts a host of features including an open fire in an attractive brick fireplace, exposed beams, slate floors and a galleried landing. Triple aspect windows make it light and airy and doors from the conservatory style dining area lead onto a private patio where guests can relax on those warm summer evenings. The surrounding countryside is excellent for walking, riding and cycling, and the village is home to a tea room and butcher's shop selling local produce.
