This delightful old cottage has been tastefully modernised to a high standard. A lot of wood has been used which gives a warm and homely atmosphere. It is situated in an elevated position -(7 shallow steps to the right or 13 steep steps to the left) lead up to it - overlooking the river Esk and the marina. It is just a short walk from Whitby town centre. Local pub around the corner and shops within walking distance.

Accommodation:
On the ground floor is a lounge with tiled floor and a gas fire and a 3/4 bed settee. Stairs lead to the first floor where there is a kitchen, a second lounge/diner with gas fire and views of the harbour all the way to the old bridge. From the kitchen two steps lead down to the utility room the back door and the bathroom with bath, power shower over bath, toilet and washbasin. On the second floor are two bedrooms, one with a double bed (same fabulous views) and one with two single beds. There is a second toilet and a big wardrobe on the landing. There are 2  fitted wooden stairgates in the middle floor.

Services:
Refrigerator and separate freezer, gas cooker with grill and oven, microwave, washing machine and dishwasher. Gas central heating.  Colour TV in both lounges (one with a DVD), radio. Removable safety stair gates and bed guard are available as well as a travel cot and high chair. Bedlinen is provided. Seat in front of the cottage with BBQ. On street parking nearby. Non-smokers only. Sorry, no pets.Drying facilities available at the rear of the property.
