This very pleasant cottage is situated in Captain Cook's Haven, part of a complex of privately owned dwellings. It is close to the river Esk and there is access to the viaduct onto the old Whitby to Scarborough railway line, popular with cyclists and walkers. the North Yorkshire Steam Train runs along the opposite bank.The holidaymaker can make use of the facilities of Captain cook's Haven which include use of the heated indoor swimming pool. It is an ideal base to explore the villages and sandy bays, while just a mile from the centre of historic Whitby. There is something for everyone in this area.

Accommodation:
Entrance, hallway. Bedroom with twin beds, wardrobe and bookcase. Downstairs cloakroom with toilet and hand washbasin. Lounge with dining area and electric 'wood burner-effect' stove. The patio doors open up onto a patio and grassy area. Half open kitchen. On the first floor are two bedrooms, one with a double bed, built-in wardrobe, dressing table and small chest of drawers and one with twin beds, wardrobe and chest of drawers. There is a bathroom with bath, shower over the bath, toilet and washbasin.

Services:
Refrigerator, electric cooker with oven and extractor fan, microwave. Digital colour TV with freesat, DVD, radio/CD player. Heating by way of night storage heaters. Bed linen is provided. Non-smokers only! Sorry, no pets. Designated car parking space for one car. Additional car parking on first come first served basis. At the back of the house is a private patio with picnic bench. The holidaymaker can make use of the facilities of Captain Cook's Haven which include use of the heated indoor swimming pool, children's adventure play area, gas barbecue's and laundrette.
