This magnificent large town house is situated in an elevated position at the edge of Whitby on the road leading into Whitby from the New Bridge. The back of the house is an oasis of quiet as it borders on a school's playing field. From the second floor you have views of the Abbey and the sea. It is only about a ten minute walk into town.

Accommodation:
The whole house is tastefully furnished to a very high standard. Entrance around the back. Utility room, spacious kitchen/diner with multi-fuel stove. Separate downstairs toilet with hand washbasin. Cosy lounge with electric fire. There is a furnished conservatory at the back of the house. On the first floor there is a bedroom with a double bed, wardrobe and en-suite bathroom with shower, toilet and washbasin.  Also a second bedroom with a double bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers. There is a bathroom with bath, hand shower attachment, toilet and washbasin. On the second floor there is a bedroom with a single bed and wardrobe with views of the Abbey and the sea and a second bedroom with a single bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers.

Large fridge/freezer, microwave, gas hob with electric oven, dishwasher, washing machine and separate dryer in the utility room. Colour TV with video and DVD. Gas central heating. Multi-fuel stove in kitchen. Fuel is provided. Bed linen and towels are provided. Cot, travel cot and high chair are provided. Pleasant enclosed garden at the back with raised decking area with romantic garden seats. Barbecue provided. One well-behaved dog is welcome but not allowed upstairs. Private parking for 2 cars behind the house. Although the front of the house is facing a rather busy road, double glazed windows will ensure your peace.
