This wonderful cottage is part of Seaton Hall, an ancient manor house with over a thousand years of recorded history, truly unique.. 2 steps to entrance.

Living area: With electric wood burner, 50" Smart TV, piano and beams.

Kitchen area: With electric oven, induction hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and coffee machine.
Utility room: With washing machine, tumble dryer and toilet.
Bedroom 1: With double bed and en-suite with shower and toilet.

Bedroom 3: With zip and link 2ft 6in twin beds (can be kingsize on request) and en-suite with shower cubicle and toilet.
Bathroom: With roll top bath, and toilet.. Oil central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Travel cot and highchair. Patio with garden furniture. Large lawned garden (shared with other properties on-site). Gas BBQ available on request, by prior arrangement. Allocated parking for 3 cars in car park. No smoking. Please note: There is a walled moat in the grounds.. Seaton Court has a fascinating past, the hall was named after the de Seton dynasty who resided from 1130 to 1307 and whose family made allegiances with and marriages to the Scottish Royal family. Passed down through generations, before slipping into disrepair. The present owner (who is descended from one of the previous residents Sir Francis Bigod) purchased the estate in 2002 and employed a team of specialist masons and craftsmen who have been lovingly rebuilding and restoring this incredible place of local heritage. Located in private grounds on the edge of Staithes on the breathtakingly beautiful North Yorkshire Coast, surrounded by the heather clad North Yorkshire Moors.
Stepping inside Seaton Court you enter into the hallway, where your walking boots and coats can be stored in the utility room. Through into the open plan living room with a dining area and a bespoke hand crafted kitchen looking out onto your own patio with the rolling countryside beyond. Cast your eyes up into the incredible supporting beams and the ancient hand carved masonry above the feature fire place. Each cottage here has wonderful unique features and charm, showcasing its heritage. Upstairs you have two bedrooms, a double and a twin which can be made up as a double on request, plus an additional double bedroom down stairs. This is an ideal choice for families as well as groups of friends looking to create memories to treasure together.
For days when you do not fancy cooking there is a café on site, as well as an antiques barn to browse. There are picturesque walking trails including the Cleveland Way leading across the cliff tops. Many pretty coastal villages such as Runswick Bay, Robin Hood’s Bay as well as Staithes. The historical seafaring town of Whitby delights guests with boat trips and the iconic Abbey ruins. Saltburn is a surfer’s paradise, with a beautiful Victorian pier. You can take a trip on the steam train across the North Yorkshire Moors Railway, taking in the views and visiting some beautiful villages along the way. For children you can ride the miniature train in Ruswarp before hiring a boat to row along the river. At this cottage your dog is welcome to join you, this area is a haven for dogs, with lots of walks to choose from as well as many dog friendly cafés and pubs. This is sure to be a stay to remember, twined with history, culture and the surrounding countryside. Beach 1 mile. Shop 0.4 miles, pub 0.7 miles and restaurant 100 yards.

Located in Saltburn-by-the-Sea, this cottage is in a rural area and on a river. Whitby Pavilion and Whitby Abbey are local landmarks, and some of the area's attractions include The Moors National Park Centre and Museum of Victorian Science. Traveling with kids? Consider Kirkleatham Owl Centre and Zetland Lifeboat Museum. Take an opportunity to explore the area for water adventures such as fishing.
