This centrally located, lower ground floor apartment sits right on the sea front, just a short walk from the popular harbour area right in the heart of the coastal town of Ilfracombe. With views from the private terrace out over the ever changing Bristol Channel, the apartment has been well furnished to provide a comfortable and welcoming place to enjoy a holiday or short relaxing break. All the delights that Ilfracombe has to offer are within easy walking distance of the apartment. The picturesque harbour, which is guarded over by Damien Hirst’s ’Verity’, has a good variety of shops and restaurants, and a small beach to get the sand between your toes. The local Tunnels Beaches are also well worth a visit. There is a wealth of local shops, restaurants and bars all within walking distance.
During your stay there is plenty to see and do further afield. The Lynton to Lynmouth cliff railway makes for an excellent day out, and at Croyde and Woolacombe you will find some of the best and cleanest surf beaches in the country, as well as many smaller coves and bays. Exmoor National Park is a short distance away, and on a clear day the views can be spectacular. There are National Trust properties at Arlington and Knightshayes, and the RHS gardens at Rosemoor, Great Torrington are also worth a visit. Golf, fishing and cycling are all available locally. Beach 150 yards. Shop, pub and restaurant 100 yards.
