Within 2 miles of the historic port and bustling town centre of Bideford with its good choice of individual shops, pubs and restaurants, and with the character fishing village of Appledore, Northam Burrows Park or wide sandy beach, and golf course of Westward Ho! all within a 10 minute drive. An ideal location for exploring the spectacular beaches, rugged coastline and character villages in this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with walking or cycling along the Tarka Trail closeby. Many tourist attractions including RHS Garden Rosemoor, Dartington Crystal and Lundy Island (ferry available from Bideford) are all easily accessible and the splendour of Exmoor or the  beauty of North Cornwall are both just a 40 minute scenic drive.
