The front door opens onto a hallway, useful for coat and boot storage, with access to a downstairs cloakroom. There are several beautiful walks easily accessible from the cottage, including a trail which leads to The Forbidden Corner, a picturesque walled garden filled with hidden surprises! Just a short drive away is West Witton, where you will find the Fox & Hounds Inn, along with the charming West Witton Village Shop and Tea Room where you can sample the mouth-watering cake selection and pick-up ingredients to re-create your favourite holiday meals in the comfort of Coverdale Cottage. Venture over to Hawes, where you can wander the exhibits in the Dales Countryside Museum and learn more about rural life or tour the nearby, historic Gayle Mill, not forgetting to make your way over to the beautiful location of Aysgill Force.
