Blackburns Yard, Whitby

North Yorkshire. Sleeps up to 5

This lovely cottage is situated in one of Whitby's secluded yards off Church Street. Although it is only a short walk to shops, pubs, restaurants and the beach, it is a nice quiet spot. The cottage is decorated and furnished to a very high standard with some nice old features such as beamed ceilings, original wooden floorboards and feature fireplace.

Accommodation:
Entrance, small hallway. Cosy lounge with gas 'stove-effect' fire in feature fireplace, beamed ceiling and solid wooden floor. Stairs lead down to a fabulous kitchen/diner with flag stone floor. On the first floor is a bedroom with a king-size bed, wardrobe, beamed ceiling and original floorboards. Also a small bedroom with a single bed, hanging space and chest of drawers. On the top floor is a bedroom with two single beds. As these beds are only 2""6' wide and one is also shorter, they are only suitable for children. Also on this floor is bathroom with bath, hand shower attachment, toilet and washbasin. As the accommodation is over four floors, the property is not suitable for people with mobility problems.

Services:
Refrigerator with freezer compartment, electric range cooker with double oven, combination microwave, washer/dryer. Colour TV with freeview and DVD player, radio/CD player. Gas central heating - no extra charges for gas or electricity. Bed linen is provided. Shared sitting out area in front of the cottage.  Non-smokers only. Sorry, no pets.
