If you don't feel like cooking one evening, venture into the village of Church Fenton, where you will find a choice of bars and a restaurant, as well as a number of local shops for picking up the essentials. The nearby historic town of Tadcaster also boasts a selection of bars, breweries and restaurants, with the River Wharfe running through the town. For days out whilst staying here, venture to the cosmopolitan city of Leeds via the local train, where you will find further quality amenities, whilst the city of York houses the York Minster, the National Railway Museum York and The York Dungeon. For those feeling active, venture a little further to the Yorkshire Dales National Park, where you will find miles of walking routes amid rugged moorland and picturesque scenery.
