This cosy cottage is situated in a small ginnell off Sandgate, close to the old swing bridge in the heart of old Whitby. Although the cottage is in a busy and popular part of Whitby, close the door behind you and it is a quiet place to stay.
Accommodation
Entrance, small hallway. Spacious kitchen with beamed ceiling, dining table, electric 'wood burning-effect' stove and 3/4 bed settee. Off the kitchen is a bathroom with bath, electric shower over the bath, toilet and washbasin. On the first floor is a nice size lounge with gas coal fire. On the second floor are two bedrooms with beamed ceilings, one with full-size bunk beds, chest of drawers and small TV with DVD and one with a double bed and built-in wardrobes. Also on this floor is a separate toilet with washbasin.
Services
Refrigerator with freezer compartment, electric cooker with grill and oven, microwave, washer/dryer. Colour TV with free satellite box with DVD, radio/CD player. Gas central heating. Bed linen is provided. A travel cot and high chair are provided. Non-smokers only! One, well-behaved dog is welcome. Parking in a nearby council car park (weekly tickets available from the Tourist Information Centre)
