Ivy Cottage is a double-fronted, end-terrace cottage overlooking a village green, just a short walk from the centre of Helmsley in the North York Moors National Park. This spacious house is very well equipped and is ideal for a family holiday in the heart of this wonderful market town. Three bedrooms and a bathroom are situated on the first floor, whilst on the ground floor are a variety of living spaces. A modern kitchen offers everything you need to cook delicious meals, with a separate utility room housing a washing machine and tumble dryer. There's also is a separate dining room where you can relax over a leisurely dinner. The cosy sitting room provides comfy sofas and a conservatory adds that extra touch to this delightful cottage. A private rear garden is just perfect for soaking up the evening sun, or you can take the short stroll into the centre of Helmsley. It is home to some excellent shopping with its individual and unique shops, galleries and boutiques. The town has its own castle and walled garden and there are plenty of places to tantalise your taste buds, from hearty country pubs and fine dining, to pretty cafes and excellent delis. The award-winning National Centre for Birds of Prey is situated at the magnificent Duncombe Park estate in Helmsley. The opportunities for walkers and cyclists are second to none with the cottage being within the National Park, and the area around Helmsley is beautiful with its rolling verdant countryside. The scenic drive towards Guisborough passing Rievaulx Abbey is splendid, whilst York, Scarborough and Whitby are all within a pleasant hour's drive. This lovely cottage will make you want to return time after time.
