From the doorstep, there are a network of public footpaths through beautiful countryside and moorland, whilst the less energetic will delight in strolling around this exceptionally pretty village. Close by are the historic market towns of Kirkbymoorside and Pickering, with weekly market days, quaint tea rooms and traditional village inns. Visit the castle at Pickering, or take a nostalgic trip on the steam railway, that winds its way to Grosmont village near Whitby. With the coastal towns of Whitby and Scarborough within easy reach, Primrose Hill Farmhouse makes an ideal base for a relaxing holiday at any time of year.
