Maple Cottage is a stylish 3-bedroom country cottage that sleeps six, meaning it’s a cottage that the whole family can enjoy (including two dogs!).
The open plan living room of Maple Cottage contains a large L-shaped sofa, two armchairs and a flat screen TV with DVD player, making this the perfect place to relax and unwind. Off to one side of the lounge is the dining area that easily seats six, and beyond the dining area are the patio doors. Sliding across the patio doors reveals the wooden terrace overlooking the large garden area. With a charcoal BBQ, this terrace is the perfect spot for warm summer evenings.
The master bedroom at Maple has views of the beautiful Devon countryside, and the warm colours of the room accompanied by pink tones give a homely and welcoming feel. The king size bed sits in the centre of the room with a classic metal frame. There is also a wooden wardrobe, and two bedside drawers with lamps. The master bedroom also boasts an en-suite shower room, fit with a shower, loo and sink.
The main twin bedroom in the cottage is ideal for adults or children, and contains a useful tallboy, which can hold plenty of holiday clothing. There is also a single (twin) room at the front of Maple overlooking the courtyard. The comfy room can be set up as either a twin or single with a pullout bed stored beneath the metal bed-frame. As always, there is plenty of space for clothes in a built-in wardrobe. The family bathroom accompanies these two rooms, with a delightful beach-theme and comprising of a bath, loo and sink.
A short walk from the front door is the games room, which can be used by all the guests at Parkgate. This quaint hidey-hole will please both the young and young at heart with table tennis, table football and darts all available. The younger members of the family can also use the children's play area on the grass; the timber play centre includes a slide and two swings.
