Very conveniently situated property with direct access across Northam Burrows Country Park and Nature Reserve, to the magnificent pebble ridge backed sands. The Burrows, where ponies and sheep peacefully graze, are of special interest to bird watchers, being the habitat of a large number of rare species. Further delightful walks are also nearby, with easy access to the National Trust Coastal path, which extends as far as Cornwall. All central amenities and entertainments of Westward Ho! are within a short walk, including choice of shops, pubs, restaurants, golf and horse riding. The indoor swimming pool at Northam, fishing village of Appledore and major shopping town and historic port of Bideford are just a short drive away.
The property is the owner's own home outside of the holiday season, and accommodation is therefore furnished and equipped to a high standard including gas central heating and double glazing throughout. Three bedrooms - king-size double with pine furnishings, some sea views and TV, further double overlooking rear garden, and twin bedded with sea glimpses. High quality bathroom/wc with large shower cubicle. Very comfortable living room with multi-fuel stove, sky+ satellite TV with full skypackage, DVD, CD/radio and French doors to the garden. Fully fitted galley kitchen with slate flooring, elec cooker, gas hob + extractor, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. One shallow step up to dining area, with circular table and French doors to garden. Enclosed front garden with tarmac drive, and delightful fully enclosed south facing rear garden with good size lawn, patio with garden furniture and barbecue. Driveway parking for 4 cars.
