This stone-built cottage is situated along the High Street going down the hill into the old village of Staithes. It is only minutes from the seafront. The cottage is furnished and decorated to a high standard yet retains original features such as wooden floorboards and an open fireplace. The accommodation is over four floors.

ACCOMMODATION: two steps lead up into the cottage. Cosy lounge with open fire in feature fireplace. Next to the lounge is a second sitting room. Fairly steep stairs lead down into a spacious kitchen/diner with tiled floor. A backdoor leads out onto a patio with sitting out furniture. On the first floor is a bedroom with a double bed, built-in wardrobe and dressing table. A modern shower room with double shower, toilet, washbasin and heated towel rail. There is also an area with a day bed which can be used as a single bedroom. Another flight of fairly steep stairs lead to the second floor where there is a bedroom with a double bed and small wall-mounted TV and a lovely bathroom with a roll-top bath, toilet and washbasin under the eaves. There is also a lovely back yard/BBQ area at the rear of the property.

SERVICES: fridge/freezer, electric cooker with grill and oven and extractor fan, microwave, washing machine. Wall-mounted flat screen TV with DVD in the lounge. Gas central heating. Bed linen is provided. Non-smokers only. . Because of the steep cottage stairs, the property is not suitable for people with mobility problems. Parking at the top car park at a fee, but you can drive down to unload and load. One small, well-behaved pet is welcome - BUT not allowed upstairs.
