Region: Somerset offers 3 Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty - the Quantock, Mendip and Blackdown Hills. Lose yourself in the glory of nature, take a ride on a steam train, visit a traditional farmers’ market or explore your mystical side at Glastonbury.

Town: Sandford is in Somerset, surrounded by picturesque farmland and the Mendip Hills AONB. The Railway Inn and a SPAR are the only amenities in this picturesque village, which is home to orchards for Thatchers Cider. By travelling to the shore, you can visit Weston-super-Mare for a classic seaside town experience with watersports, donkey rides, and promenade strolls. Contrast this coastal scenery with the Mendips, where rocky outcrops, lakes, gorges, and flower-rich grasslands have been left to flourish in a protected area unspoiled by human influence and home to some of Britain's darkest skies for astronomy.

Located in Winscombe, this cottage is in a rural area. Mendip Spring Golf and Country Club and Cheddar Crazy Golf are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Mendip Hills and Ashton Court Country Park. Looking to enjoy an event or a game while in town? See what's happening at Action Centre or Optima Stadium. Fishing offers a great chance to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with cycling, hiking, and rock climbing nearby.
