This large house lies in the tranquil village of Wookey, near the historic city of Wells in Somerset. It is part of the Wookey Vicarage that was built in the 1800's. It's a property bursting with character and period features, situated in an excellent location for exploring the Mendip Hills and the surrounding area, providing a useful base for families or groups of friends wanting to experience Somerset. Upon entering the house, you will find yourself in an impressive hallway boasting a number of period features that just add to this property's charm, such as the original servants' bells attached to the staircase. On your right is the spacious sitting room with plenty of comfortable seating around a warming woodburning stove, a cosy space for relaxing with the family after a busy day sight-seeing or hiking in the hills. Tucked away is a door that leads to a passageway with convenient WC and a further door that leads into the courtyard that leads to additional parking and the garden. There is plenty to see in Wells from the magnificent Cathedral to the beautiful Bishop's Palace, as well as a range of boutique and independent shops, cafes, restaurants and bars.
