For a taste of history, the nearby village of Montacute is home to the National Trust’s Montacute House, a country manor from 1601 with beautiful formal gardens, the area has some of the finest historic houses and gardens to visit. Further afield is the larger town of Glastonbury, where you will find an array of shops, pubs and restaurants to suit all ages and tastes, in addition to a wealth of attractions to keep you busy.
