Glastonbury Picture House, Glastonbury

Somerset. Sleeps up to 5

Delightful, sunny, end of terrace house with a level 5 minute walk from the busy High St. Perfect for a couple or a family break.
The house is perfectly situated in a quiet part of Glastonbury and has views of trees from every window.
Free on and off street parking. Gardens to front and rear. Under stairs meditation Nook. Flat screen TV and DVD player. Free WiFi.

The Picture House is newly refurbished and consists of an open plan living area, with a fully fitted, luxury, ash front kitchen. As well as a cooker we also provide microwave, smoothie maker and all the usual equipment for creating a yummy dinner.
In the sitting/dining room there is a large John Lewis Leather sofa bed for extra guests, a gliding Rocking chair and a marble table with classic dining chairs. Plus rainy day games and a selection of books.
Under the stairs we have created a nook, perfect for meditating, reading or a kids den/play area.
There are two bedrooms, a large one with a lovely king sized double bed and space for yoga, and a small one with a comfortable single bed.
The duvets are thick and warm with crisp white bedding and blankets for extra chilly nights. The bathroom is fully tiled, has a spacious walk in shower and good natural light.
There is a small garden out front and a walled and gravelled garden in the back with a lovely cherry plum tree, which you are welcome to pick and enjoy in season (June/ July). We get lots of birds visiting, especially when the trees are fruiting so its a tranquil place to hang out and relax.

Located in Glastonbury, this vacation home is in the city center. St. Margaret's Chapel & Magdalene Almshouses and Glastonbury Abbey are local landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Avalon Vineyard and Cheddar Crazy Golf. Greenbank Pool and Wells & Mendip Museum are also worth visiting.
