Misty Moon, Whitby

North York Moors. Sleeps up to 5

Misty Moon is an immaculate semi-detached cottage resting in the seaside and port town of Whitby. With a wonderful enclosed garden and TV's in all the bedrooms, Misty Moon is an ideal spot to discover the North Yorkshire coast or the nearby North York Moors National Park. You are greeted to the property by a spacious private driveway, before you step into the hallway where there is room to hang any coats. To your left there is a amply-equipped kitchen with everything you need to enjoy a self-catering holiday, including great cooking facilities, a large fridge/freezer, a fancy coffee machine and a handy washing machine and dishwasher. Moving through the property, there is a well-decorated living/dining room with a unique feature wall with the tall ships in Whitby, a spacious dining table for guests to enjoy an evening meal together, and patio doors leading out to the rear garden. The image on the feature wall is a famous one as it’s been taken by Frank Meadow Sutcliffe and is his personal favourite out of all of Sutcliffe’s work. The enclosed garden boasts a patio with furniture for an evening of al fresco dining, as well as a swing seat where you can enjoy your morning coffee, an extendable washing line and beautiful flower beds. When the evening draws to a close, climb upstairs and past the large vinyl image of Whitby at night, to your chosen bedroom which each boast a TV for guests to relax, and storage space for those wishing to unpack. These three superb bedrooms are complimented by a bathroom, where guests can soak in a long bath or wash their sandy toes under the shower. 8 Convent Way is within walking distance to a supermarket for when you need those self-catering essentials, or when you fancy a delightful evening out, head towards the centre of town to find a range of takeaways, pubs and eateries. Whitby is a great spot for walkers, who can enjoy the Cinder Hiking Track, the nearby North York Moors, or the famous 199 steps to Whitby Abbey which offers sweeping views of the harbour and the town. Whitby offers a stunning Blue Flag sandy beach which boasts donkey rides, beach huts and great views of the lighthouse, whilst the shoreside golf course and surrounding museums also attract guests. Whilst in Whitby don't forget to enjoy a boat ride in search for whales, dolphins, seals and sea birds, or stay on land and take a ride on the Whitby Cliff Lift from the cliff top, down to the beach. Whitby has something for everyone to enjoy, so for a memorable holiday, choose Misty Moon as your holiday home.
