To the ground floor you will find a good size sitting room with comfortable seating, TV with Freeview and a Blu-ray player. The property benefits from underfloor heating throughout – lovely and cosy in the cooler months. The smart kitchen is well equipped and has a lovely granite worktop to add a touch of luxury. Keep the cook company in the nearby dining area, and enjoy mealtimes seated on one of the renovated pews – a delightful nod to the property’s Wesleyan history. The ground floor has been specially designed for the elderly or those with mobility issues. There is an additional fully-equipped ground floor bedroom with a large en-suite shower room with wet room, basin and WC. Head into Grosmont village, where you will find several cafes and a cosy pub, including a tearoom at the 1952 themed heritage railway station. Take a ride on the steam train from Grosmont to the bustling market town of Pickering, gateway to the North York Moors. Or head to the coast on the Esk Valley line from Grosmont to picturesque Whitby, known for its lovely sandy beach, Abbey ruins, St. Mary’s church and, of course, top notch fish and chips. This superb luxury cottage really is a gem of a find, perfect for everyone!
