A short walk downhill from the cottage will take you to the busy harbour, lined with cafes and restaurants, a lovely spot to sit and watch as the trawlers land their daily catch. Stroll along beside the marina and on for a dip in the iconic Shoalstone sea water swimming pool. For a swim in the sea, Breakwater Beach and Fishcombe Cove can be reached on foot and a little further away the magnificent beaches of Torbay are perfect for family days out. For younger ones there are plenty of attractions including Paignton Zoo, Babbacombe Model Village, Living Coasts and Quaywest Waterpark. Agatha Christie’s Greenway House is nearby at Galmpton. This location makes for a memorable seaside stay at any time of year.
