House in South Wales, Ogmore-By-Sea

Glamorgan. Sleeps up to 6

Set in the simply splendid coastal village of Ogmore by Sea, lying between Southerndown and Porthcawl in the Vale of Glamorgan. This lesser known village has a super beach, which is just yards from the property, enjoyed throughout the year by both families and surfers alike. There is a very popular cafe just along the road and a craft shop too. The coastal path offers breath taking scenery in either direction. Visit Ogmore Castle a 2 mile drive or walk way, or perhaps visit the remains of Dunraven Castle and the walled garden in Southerndown. For the discerning shopper, Cowbridge is a short drive with a range of independent shops and Cardiff city is slightly further afield. (Please check admittance for the various attractions). Laid across three floors to make the most of the wonderful sea views, you enter the hallway on the ground floor. On the ground floor there is a single bedroom with additional single pull out bed and a bathroom with shower over bath and WC and a separate WC. There is also a second lounge with TV/DVD with fabulous sea views. Head down a half flight of open tread stairs to the main lounge, set on the lower ground floor. This super space has comfortable sofas, an open fire and stunning sea and beach views. The perfect spot to relax and unwind after a day of exploring. Head across the small hallway to the kitchen, which again has great coastal views along with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge and dishwasher. There is also a utility room with washing machine and fridge/freezer, that is also handy for keeping any surfing equipment tucked away. From the kitchen you can head through to the dining room which has floor to ceiling views and doors to the outside, so you can let the outside in during those warmer months. Back up the stairs to the ground floor and up an additional flight to the first floor, is where you will find the three further bedrooms, two doubles, and a further single bedroom, also with an additional single pull out bed, all with excellent sea views. Heading outside to rear of the property, there is an enclosed patio and decked area with panoramic sea views, there perfect spot to enjoy the evening sun. There is off road parking for two cars on the driveway.
