Charlottes Cottage nestles with 3 other cottages around a courtyard on the Forest Lodge Country Estate in the heart of the Brecon Beacons. With superb walking and views across the hills this warm friendly cottage with all its wooden beams and panels is a cosy retreat in contrast with the surrounding wild heathland. There are three comfortable bedrooms with original beams and sweet cottage windows to let in the morning sunlight.
Cottage Accommodation
Sleeps 6, 3 bedrooms.
Entrance hall leads into a pretty kitchen with electric cooker, fridge and microwave, with plenty of work and storage space. There is a separate Utility/boot room with washing machine, deep freeze and ample storage space behind the sitting room
Downstairs shower room with toilet and handbasin.
The long attractive sitting room has French doors and two windows overlooking the enclosed garden which let in plenty of light. There are snug sofas to curl up in front of the large fireplace where the owner has installed a woodburner, there is also a TV with Freeview.
At the end of the room is a formal dining table and chairs.
This is a lovely place to stay with walks straight from the door and pets are welcome.

The bathroom has a bath, with a shower over, handbasin and toilet.

There is a large fenced paddock (tennis court size) ideal for children to play safely. There are wonderful walks and views directly onto the mountains etc. These attractive cottages were built in the early 1800's for farm workers at the Estate on the Drovers Road to Brecon in the central Brecon Beacons. This is a wonderful location for any kind of large gathering, family groups, reunions, Management Groups etc. Catering can be offered on discussion.

Forest Lodge Cottages are in a delightful situation at the foot of the mountains with wonderful walking. These cottage's Charlottes, Ivy and Fern are on Forest Lodge Country Estate and can be booked in conjunction with Forest Lodge farmhouse therefore sleeping a total of 40 people.
