This lovely detached property is situated in the beautiful village of Llantwit Major in the Vale of Glamorgan. An ideal base for friends and family wishing to explore this interesting part of the country. From the hallway enter into the open plan light and airy living area where there is a well-equipped kitchen with a table and chairs. The lounge has wooden flooring and two lovely comfortable leather sofas where you can settle back and relax in front of the gas stove-effect fire. There is a good sized dining room where you can enjoy sociable meals together. Upstairs there is a delightful stained glass window on the landing leading to three bedrooms, one of which has an en-suite shower and there is a family bathroom. Outside this charming cottage is a large enclosed rear garden and a smaller front lawn, so you are spoilt for choice choosing somewhere to sit and relax whilst planning your next day’s activities. There is a pebble beach within walking distance through the countryside where there is a café, or if you prefer there are five pubs and coffee shops in the local village and several restaurants, including a very good Italian and an Indian. The village is also home to two supermarkets, both within a five minute walk, for all your essentials. If you wish to venture further afield there are sandy beaches, such as Southerndown, Ogmore-by-Sea or Merthyr Mawr near Porthcawl and also the holiday beach resort of Barry Island is also close by. However, if a spot of retail therapy is for you, you will find many shops in nearby Cowbridge or a bit further away are Cardiff and Swansea and of course, the designer outlet village at Bridgend. This lovely cottage is an ideal base for exploring all that the area has to offer at any time of the year.
