Just across the water from Dartmouth, the village of Kingswear makes a picturesque base for a break in the South Hams. You’ll be able to hop onto a ferry and cross the Dart to explore the historic naval town of Dartmouth with its cobbled streets, quirky shops and friendly pubs, or pick up the steam railway from Kingswear itself and chug your way to nearby Torbay.
