Holsworthy is a historic market town surrounded by glorious rolling Devon countryside and yet just 9 miles from the magnificent coastline and sandy surfing beaches of both North Devon and Cornwall including the popular beach resort of Bude. There is a good choice of shops, pubs and restaurants all within walking distance and the surrounding villages offer many wonderful character inns. The surrounding area is known as ' Ruby Country' and is officially recognised as 'an area of pure tranquillity'. Wooded trails, bridleways, footpaths and cycle tracks abound , and the Tamar Lakes offer excellent coarse fishing; sailing dinghies, rowing boats, wind surfers and canoes for hire, as well as being a haven for bird watchers who can observe wildfowl from hides provided. The cottage offers a high quality base from which to experience life in a small Devon market town as well as being ideal for exploring the history, beauty and tranquillity of beautiful rural countryside and the dramatic National Trust coastline in this area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
This delightful mews cottage was recently converted to high standards and is very comfortably furnished and well equipped throughout including underfloor heating. One good sized double bedded room with rugs on hard floors and French doors to Juliet balcony. Fully tiled bathroom/wc with shower over bath and heated towel rail. Very comfortable open plan living /dining room with TV, DVD and CD player and double bedsettee for alternative sleeping . Fully fitted kitchen on half landing with breakfast bar for 2, electric hob and oven, extractor, microwave, freezer and washer/dryer. On road parking available closeby and choice of car parks all within a short walk.
