One of a number of stone built barns, Bullrush Barn has been converted into a modern three bedroom property sleeping up to six people. Set in the pretty courtyard of Ty Newydd Farmhouse, near the small hamlet of Pencelli and only a couple of miles from the market town of Brecon. Facing out onto the welsh countryside it has a private garden.
It has an open plan kitchen/diner and sitting area, with comfy sofas, smart kitchen, flat screen TV, DVD and DAB radio. It is decorated to a high standard mixing contemporary mod cons with exposed wooden beams, and colourful soft furnishings. It has the latest under floor heating and a practical cloakroom & down stairs toilet.
The pretty enclosed garden looks out onto the hills and has a sunken patio area great for morning coffee, alfresco eating and star gazing.
Allocated parking is provided for up to two cars and secure storage can be provided for bikes.

This is the ideal place to start a short or long walk, along the tow path Brecon is less than 3 miles to the west passing over Brynich Aqueduct and Brynich Lock; or in the other direction Talybont-on-Usk has four thriving pub/restaurants - all providing good food, there is the village shop, canal side cafe and Post Office. Or you can choose to hike onto the Brecon Beacons and return via the village of Llanfrynach which is only a short distance along the road from the cottage. This is also ideal for mountain biking with the Taff Trail on the doorstop, to make it easier you can arrange for bikes to be delivered for your arrival. Walk along the canal to The Royal Oak in Pencelli - check opening times with owner.

Brecon 3 miles. Hay-on-Wye 35 minutes drive away.
