This detached holiday cottage is situated next to the owners’ home, in an elevated position and commands stunning views across the beautiful countryside of Herefordshire, the Malvern Hills and the Forest of Dean. This is a wonderful walking area with Woodland Trust walks starting from the doorstep, wildlife enthusiasts will be pleased as deer and wild boar can sometimes be seen. There are many places of interest all within a 30-minute drive, which include the historic towns of Monmouth and Ross-on-Wye, both of which have golf courses as well as a hedge maze, butterfly centre, river cruises, canoe centre, cycle hire and pubs. Places of historical interest include Tintern Abbey and castles at Raglan and Goodrich, which are well worth a visit. Chepstow Racecourse, Abergavenny, Hereford, Gloucester and Newport are all within driving distance. Shop 1 mile, pub and restaurant 11/2 miles.
