This Chantry is a must see, with its traditional features and lovely character, you’ll feel like you’re staying within a period drama house.

The kitchen has been finished with a cottage style and is well-equipped with all the appliances you will need. A large wooden table and chairs takes centre stage with low lighting that’s simply perfect for a family supper. A utility room is accessed off the kitchen/dining room; a great space for muddy boots and dogs. Then when it’s time to relax, step into the living room where you can sit back in front of the wood burner; the cosy sofas and floral fabric armchairs really finish the room. There is a small alcove with card table and selection of games. When you really want some peace, hideaway in the small snug with a good book or watch TV. You also have three bedrooms and two bathrooms.

Outside you can enjoy the views where the garden has a rustic feel with a patio area offering a table and chairs with the remainder of the grounds set as a mature meadow. The rear of the property forms part of Garway Hillside and has sheep roaming freely. There’s lots of local animals and wildlife include mountain horses, sheep, and Great Crested Newts to enjoy. The unique beauty of the property is that you are remote, so remember to stock up on food and essentials before you arrive.

Garway Hill, one of the most beautiful places in Herefordshire. Within easy reach is the Offa’s Dyke, Wye Valley Way and the Forest of Dean, as well as horse riding and kayaking available on the River Monnow and River Wye. The vibrant town of Monmouth is close by with elegant Georgian mansions and Victorian courtyards, offering shops, pubs, and restaurants. The area has many castles including Monmouth, Goodrich & Raglan Castles, and numerous beautiful churches including the remains of the stunning Tintern Abbey, just half an hour away.

Located in Hereford, this cottage is in a rural area.
