Estuary View is a beautiful one-bedroom apartment with outstanding panoramic sea views and is in a prime position in Exmouth, based just a stone’s throw from the sandy beach and marina. There is a light and stylish open plan kitchen/living and dining area with sliding doors opening onto a small balcony offering the most glorious views of the water and ever-changing coastal landscape. Relax here with your morning coffee whilst soaking up the beautiful Devon sunshine. The kitchen/dining area is well-equipped with everything needed to prepare a romantic meal for two. If you don’t feel like cooking, there are several good food pubs and excellent seafood restaurants within a few seconds’ walk. The living space has comfortable seating and a Smart TV with Freeview so guests can wind down and watch a film after a busy day exploring the coastline. The double bedroom offers a peaceful night’s sleep and the chic shower room next door is fitted with a double shower cubicle.
The 2-mile sandy beach on the Jurassic coastline is just a moments’ walk away and it links to the South West Coastal Path and the Exe Estuary Cycle Trail, bringing you to the quaint village of Topsham to the north and the pretty village of Budleigh Salterton to the east. Exmouth offers excellent water sports facilities including sailing, power boating, water skiing, jet skiing, wake and paddle boarding, wind or kite surfing and canoeing. Coastal and estuary cruises operate from the dock opposite the apartment building and charter boats are available for fishing trips. From November to February, the Exe Estuary is home for some 20,000 migratory birds and the red sandstone cliffs of Orcombe Point at the eastern end of the beach are designated the gateway to the World Heritage Jurassic Coast. The beautiful, pebbled heathlands of East Devon with extensive walks, abundant wildlife, rare plants, and splendid panoramic views are only a few minutes’ drive and the South West coast path is nearby. Keen hikers should head to Dartmoor National Park which is just a 40-minute drive away and the quintessential East Devon coastal towns and villages of Budleigh Salterton, Beer, Branscombe, Sidmouth and Seaton are within easy reach. Popular attractions include Crealey Park, Bicton Gardens and the World of Country Life. Take a day trip to the cathedral city of Exeter exploring the Underground Passages, Royal Albert Memorial Museum and Exeter castle before delighting in lunch at one of the many excellent restaurants and cafés. Supermarkets and shops are within a 10 minute walk. Beach ¼ mile.
