Situated in the quaint and pretty village of Threlkeld, this lovely home is tucked underneath the imposing Blencathra. Guests can commence the walk up the fell from the doorstep, and there are many other walking routes around the valley from here. There s a coast to coast cycleway that passes directly outside the cottage, too, so don t forget to bring your bikes. You ll be right next to a dog friendly pub that serves fantastic home cooked food. Keswick town and the beautiful Derwentwater are 4 miles away where you can explore shops, restaurants, tourist attractions or enjoy boating or fishing on the lake. Enter this charming three storey property and find yourself in a large open plan lounge/diner. There s plenty of comfortable seating for all guests here and a TV with a DVD player for cosying down and watching a film together after a busy day. Take a seat at the dining table and enjoy your morning coffees while planning the day s activities. The kitchen leads off from here and has all the amenities you need for a self catering stay such as an oven, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer. A shower room with WC completes the ground floor. Head downstairs where two of the bedrooms one double and one twin are found. There is also a bathroom with a shower over the bath and WC on this level. On the top level is a large double bedroom, ideal for those taking some time out away from the group. Outside, there are two seating areas, one to the rear and one to the front. The front has a large, private patio and table and chairs, a great spot for soaking up the views which surround you. At the back of the property is a BBQ and picnic area, shared with the two adjoining cottages which can be booked alongside this one. Ample parking is available to the side of the property.
