Internally, the property is entered by a ramped doorway and on opening the door you will immediately see the property has been finished to a high standard with handmade latch doors, Imported Irish floor tiles and underfloor heating throughout, this property oozes quality and craftsmanship and has many traditional features. Discover the open-plan living space, a social area where all can gather after the day's activities, relaxing on the sofa as you soak up the atmosphere and enjoy the heat from the multi-fuel stove. When you’re in the area, be sure to pick up a sweet treat from the tearoom at Lanercost Priory after exploring the fascinating 14th-century ruins of the Priory, or step back in time at the Roman Wall and Birdoswald Roman Fort with castle and museum set along the famous Hadrian’s Wall. From the door there are plenty of scenic walks and cycling trails, but if you’re willing to venture further afield then head to the RSPB Geltsdale and Talkin Tarn Country Park, ideal locations for an afternoon adventure packed with angling and birdwatching or call into Brampton Golf Club for a round of golf or the Trout Farm to tickle a trout or two? Make your way into the historic town of Carlisle and take on the fascinating attractions, including guided tours along Hadrian’s Wall, the beautiful Tullie House Museum and Art Gallery and the imposing Cathedral and Castle, providing an insight into the town’s history. Hexham a historic market town is not too far away, home to a remarkable Abbey, the Hexham Old Gaol, and Haltwhistle, Centre of Britain is even nearer with many of the best archaeological roman sites close-by.
