Pinehaven Lodge is a traditional style lodge offering an older style accommodation in the stunning Grasmere area of White Cross Bay, Windermere. Sleeping up to six guests plus an infant in a travel cot, this lodge is ideal for families. Step outside onto the private decking area with outdoor seating, perfect for alfresco dining. White Cross Bay sits on the shores of Lake Windermere, so head down to the jetties where you can watch the cruisers sail by, enjoy the breeze and the fantastic views. There is a pool, club house and small shop on the site too. Note: Some facilities on the park are subject to extra cost such as use of the pool, entertainment, bar and restaurant. Coming out of White Cross Bay park entrance and turning left then 500 yards up the main road is Brockhole Lake District Visitor Centre, where you could easily spend a day, enjoying gardens, house, café, restaurant, walks, boats, adventure playground and Tree Top Trek. You’re also just two miles from Windermere village with shops, cafes and pubs, and three miles from Bowness-on-Windermere a cosmopolitan village with award-winning restaurants and pubs and quirky shops, a cinema and the World of Beatrix Potter attraction and where Windermere Lake Cruises come and go. Three miles in the other direction, head to Ambleside, another bustling town with shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants and of course, walks in every direction.
