Drink in the magnificent view made famous by Daniel Defoe (of Robinson Crusoe fame) 1734 – literally “the view of the country is the most beautiful landscape in the world, a meer picture". Guests can choose to stay in a super-king-size bedroom situated off the dining area, or in the super-king-size bedroom off the entrance hallway, both served by a sleek wet room situated off the opposite side of the hallway. Maybe then relax and unwind in the bath in the luxurious en-suite bathroom, whilst fresh towels keep hot and toasty on the heated towel rails. A stroll over the lawned area to the rear of the property treats you with wonderous uninterrupted views. The exploration can then continue by dropping down into the adjoining Devon meadow where the mowed pathway around the outskirts enables you to venture to the field pond to experience the wonder of dragonflies and profusion of wildlife drawn to its offerings. Sit awhile, relax, ponder and drink in the atmosphere. If you can tear yourself away from this glorious property, venture out and discover an abundance of wonderful scenery and wildlife in the area.
