The town has a maritime history and the harbour remains the heart of it and offers visitors a choice of boat trips, from relaxing tours of Torbay, accompanied fishing trips and a regular service across the bay to the resort town of Torquay. There is plenty to see and do, from beaches and restaurants and even a fascinating replica of Sir Francis Drake s ship, The Golden Hind. Further afield, the towns of Paignton and Torquay are also popular destinations with visitors and other attractions include the golden sandy beaches, a zoo, an aquarium and a wonderful steam railway which runs through the Dart Valley. Take the steps up to the entrance of this beautiful three story property which oozes history, upon entering you ll find yourself in the charming entrance hall which is the perfect spot to hang your coats and wipe off your paws. Following on through this delightful property you will be greeted by the fabulous lounge/diner. The well furnished lounge area allows you to sit back and relax among the rich, soft furnishings and watch your favourite programme on the TV whilst the open fire crackles in the background. After a long day, head upstairs to the first floor where you will find two of the four bedrooms, a king size with TV, the master bedroom which boast a super king size bed and TV and completing this floor is the bathroom consisting of a free standing bath, a separate shower and WC. On offer is a decked area with garden furniture, parasol and BBQ allowing you to enjoy al fresco dining. The property offers one off road parking space, which is located at the church. Guests can unload outside the property then park up.
