This lovely holiday home is said to be one of the oldest properties in Appledore and has been beautifully renovated while retaining many period features. Situated at the meeting point between the rivers Torridge and Taw before flowing out into the Atlantic Ocean, Appledore is a picturesque village with extensive maritime history. Characterised by fisherman s cottages and narrow streets, it has much for visitors to explore. For those wishing to see more of the surrounding area, the beaches of North Devon, coastal walks, golf courses and several family attractions are all accessible by car. Families can enjoy a day out at places such as RHS Rosemoor, The Milky Way, Dartington Crystal and The Big Sheep. The ground floor of the house has a cosy lounge that has a feature inglenook fireplace with wood burner, a TV/DVD and plenty of comfortable seating. The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer and dishwasher. For family meals the dining room can be accessed up two steps, dining table is large enough to seat up to eight people. The bathroom is also downstairs and features a shower over bath and WC. The first double bedroom with en suite shower room and WC is located 3 steps up from the ground floor. Upstairs, there are three bedrooms: one double room, one twin with en suite shower room and WC, plus one further twin bedroom. Outside there is an enclosed walled garden and a suntrap patio at the rear of the property. The patio has garden furniture and a BBQ. There is roadside parking nearby and pay and display parking also, however please not that roadside parking is subject to availability.
