Cornwall Farmhouse will sleep 10 guests in five bedrooms and a pleasant walk down the lane to the village pub. The house is wonderfully located for walkers whether keen to explore the hills or just wanting a pleasant stroll and to relax and enjoy the view. This lovely farmhouse is tucked beside the hillside above the village of Pencelli; there are footpaths leading directly up onto the Brecon Beacons so no need for a car if you want to go for a mountain walk.
Well furnished and comfortable, a lovely place to spend time with family and friends and with a great garden for a BBQ.
Just a few minutes walk down the lane is the very early Christian Church at Llanfeugan with a renowned set of bells and some very ancient Yew Trees.
In the village of Pencelli there is the Royal Oak pub - offering good food and company - and in the summer a pretty garden beside the canal to enjoy a meal and a pint. Only a 15 minute drive to Brecon.

This old stone farmhouse has a hand built kitchen with a plenty of social room for cooking and preparing food, with a larder, butler sink, dishwasher, a large double range cooker, microwave and a fridge.
An adjoining utility room with a washing machine, tumble dryer, large fridge freezer.
A downstairs cloakroom with handbasin and toilet.
A long dining room with dining table and chairs and lovely views down the valley.
Large sitting room with sofas, stone fireplace with an open fire. A TV Freeview with DVD.
Large entrance hall with sofa next to a stone fireplace and a woodburning stove.
A further "snug", study or a map room with table and chairs where the original kitchen used to be with the old iron range fireplace once used for cooking.
Bedroom 1: Downstairs with a very fine double four poster bed.
Up a flight of fairly steep stairs to a wonderful roof terrace and a conservatory with magnificent views across the valley. The roof terrace to be accessed only by adults and on discussion with the owner.
On this floor there are four bedrooms.
Bedroom 2: With a king-size four poster bed and plenty of storage space, TV with DVD, and with en suite bathroom with a bath with an electric shower over, handbasin, bidet and toilet.
Bedroom 3: Has a king-size bed
Bedroom 4: Has a double bed and a single bed
Bedroom 5: Has bunk beds
Family bathroom: With a bath, power shower over, handbasin, bidet and toilet.
The house has a walled enclosed garden with herbaceous borders and a beautiful wooden terrace with pergola and superb views across the valley. There is good quality seating to enjoy a drink in the evening sun after walking on the hills. In addition, a gated area contains a rockery with small pond.
There is a Covenant on the farmhouse saying No Parking immediately outside the farmhouse, as the farmer always needs access for tractors passing through and moving sheep so Visitors to the farmhouse have allocated parking spaces, and do not have access by car through the main gates - parking is only 20 meters from the farmhouse.
