Whitewalls, Crickhowell

Brecon Beacons. Sleeps up to 10

Whitewalls was originally a terrace of traditional of quarrymen's cottages with a backdrop of Llangattock Escarpment rising up on the mountainside behind - always popular with climbers and walkers. Whitewalls is now a substantial and luxurious family house with the most magnificent panoramic views; it is set in a large grassed garden , perfect for children to play, with a further enclosed walled terrace behind. In the front of the cottage there is a sunny stone terrace, great for BBQs and watching the sunset with the most fantastic views over to the Sugar Loaf Mountain and The Black Mountains.

Whitewalls is a five minute drive (a pretty steep road in places) down to Crickhowell and Llangattock with two pubs serving food in Llangattock and lots more in Crickhowell. From the house there is immediate access onto the open hillside for walking and mountain biking, bikes can be hired locally and delivered to the door. The road up from the village is winds around the hillside and then over the mountain eventually reaching Brynmawr and The Heads of The Valleys Road, Abergavenny and beyond. A perfect spot to stay and enjoy the Brecon Beacons and Black Mountains or to visit Cardiff and the South Wales Valleys which are less than an hour drive. As shown on a Home Sweet Holiday Home ITV1 Holiday programme
